Hi Holger,

Just found your website and enjoy it very much! I am in a band
Liquid Liquid that was very influenced by Can and wanted to say hello and thank you for the many years of creative music!

Hi Holger,
I've seen your live show in Jerusalem, and was stunned by its complexity and rythms.
How much is pre-prepared, and how much was alive? I saw you add a lot of layers and loops live, but is not most of the music pre-recorded?
Also, could you please publish the playlist? I'd like to buy the albums..
Thanks,
AR

Hello again so soon Holger! I see from the all-blues.de site that the Can gig at the Bataclan was in March 1973 and was recorded for French TV. What a long time ago! No doubt you also played in London that year, to my recollection at the Finsbury Park Astoria, then known as the Rainbow. The material performed would have been drawn from 'Soon Over Babaluma'. It's still my favourite of the Can records though I like your own 'On the Way...' better.

What a nice website! I still play your records from time to time and have fond memories of the trip I made with you and the other members of Can in about 1974. We all travelled in the Peugeot station wagon from Koln to Paris--you had a gig there, at the Bataclan Club perhaps? I wrote the story up for the music paper 'Sounds' -- I think it was the first major coverage we did. But I rather lost touch with you and Irmin when Angus MacKinnon took over coverage of Can for the paper. He used to visit poor Michael at his home in the south of France. G;lad to see you are suriviving and still active.
With very best wishes

hallo holger,
peter
